Destination shoots. If it's worth it.
Based in Brussels, with recent shoots in Athens. Here's how we plan a film abroad.
When we travel
-
The place is the story
The film needs this exact place, not a lookalike closer to home.
-
There's enough to film
Most trips make sense from two shoot days.
-
The budget covers the trip
That means travel days, flights, baggage and nights.
-
The rules allow it in time
Local permits can take weeks, so we check before we promise.
Within EASA states
The EU drone rules apply across the member states, so most of the paperwork travels with us.
-
Registration carries over
A Belgian operator registration is valid across the EU.
-
Geozones don't
Every country has its own geozone map and approvals, so we check the local one for each location.
-
Specific flights need the local authority
Anything outside the open category needs that country's approval, with its own lead time.

Outside the EU
Some countries need a local operator or weeks of paperwork. Drones and batteries travel under airline and customs rules. If it can't be done legally, we'll say so early.
How travel is priced
We quote all of it up front, before you say yes.
-
Shoot days
The same day rate as at home.
-
Travel days
Quoted with the trip.
-
Expenses
Flights, nights, baggage and local permits, at cost.
Destination weddings
The same crew and the same approach, with the travel planned around your day.

Send us the place and the dates, and we'll tell you straight if it's possible.
