What drives the cost
-
Shoot days
Time on site is the biggest line on most quotes, and video with photo needs more crew than either alone. Half a day suits one location and a tight shot list.
-
Deliverables
The length of the film, the number of vertical cuts and the number of photos decide how long the edit takes.
-
Permissions and airspace
Controlled airspace, public institutions, royal estates and town halls each have their own approvals. The airspace request itself is free; the planning around it isn't.
-
FPV flying
FPV needs a route plan, rehearsals and an observer next to the pilot.
-
Extra ground camera
A second operator covers people and details from another angle.
-
Number of locations
Every move means packing up, travelling and often a new set of approvals.
-
Turnaround
Rush delivery moves your edit to the front of the queue.
-
Travel
Outside Brussels we add travel costs, and abroad we quote travel days and expenses line by line.

Pricing questions
How much does a drone video cost in Belgium?
With us, a project starts between €300 and €500 excl. VAT, depending on what you're filming, and adds up with the shoot days and what you need delivered. A drone film runs from €350 to €3,000. For comparison, Belgian studios list drone-only shoots at about €450 for half a day and €850 for a full day, before editing.
Why do prices vary so much between studios?
Because the work behind the same 60 seconds can be very different: shoot days, locations, permits, crew, edit time and the licence. A low quote often leaves out permits, insurance or the right to run the film as an ad.
Is the estimate a quote?
No, it's a ballpark based on your answers. We confirm the real price after a short call, once we've checked the location and the brief. We reply within one working day.
Do you charge for permits in Brussels?
The airspace request itself is free; the planning around it isn't: checking the zones, preparing the site plan, asking the town hall and sometimes an institution. That's why the estimator counts it as a separate cost.
Are your prices with or without VAT?
Business prices are shown excl. 21% VAT. Prices for private clients, such as couples, include VAT. The last question in the estimator switches between the two.
