Questions
Can you join an existing film crew as the drone unit?
Yes. We join your call sheet, attend the safety briefing and take direction from your director or DoP. Send us the locations early, because the airspace check decides how far ahead we need to file.
What format do you deliver aerial footage in?
We deliver 4K in 10-bit D-Log M from the DJI Mini 4 Pro, with a preview LUT and proxies. Tell us your frame rate, codec and naming before the shoot and we'll match them.
How high can you fly?
Up to 120 m above the ground in most places. Some zones are lower: over most of Brussels the limit is about 45 m. Flying higher needs a special permit, which takes time to get.
Can you fly over the crowd or the set?
Not over a crowd: EU rules don't allow it without a special permit, so we fly beside or behind it. Over your set, yes, once your crew has cleared the area under the flight path.
Do you fly heavier cinema cameras?
No, we fly a compact camera drone and an FPV drone. For a cinema camera in the air, we match our aerials to your main camera in the grade.
