Questions
Can you fly a drone over the festival crowd?
Not directly above it: EU rules don't allow drones over crowds without a special permit. We fly beside or behind the crowd, and on screen it looks just as big. If you need a shot straight down, tell us early: that permit takes weeks.
How fast can you deliver social clips during the event?
Yes, if we agree it in the quote: we cut vertical clips on site and send them within hours. We agree the number of clips and the moments with you in advance. Otherwise the social cuts arrive within 72 hours.
Can you film at night?
Yes. A drone may fly at night as long as the pilot keeps it in sight and it shows a flashing green light. On the ground, the Sony FX3 is built for low light.
What about attendees' image rights?
A recognisable face is personal data, and using it needs consent. We help you inform attendees with signage and a line in the ticket terms, get releases from anyone featured up close, and respect opt-outs in the edit.
Can you work alongside our own photographers?
Yes. We can be the whole team, or the aerial and FPV unit working next to your photographers. We share a shot list up front, so nobody films the same thing twice.
